Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

We are a charitable organisation that was established in 2019 by the Rivers State Sustainable Development Agency (RSSDA) scholars' alumni community, who were inspired by the RSSDA's overseas scholarship program. The foundation's founding was motivated by the desire to propagate the seed of development that was initially sowed by the then Executive Governor of Rivers State, His Excellency Rt Hon Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi.

The foundation's primary focus is on rural education, but it has since evolved to include other areas such as environmental conservation, economic empowerment, and health awareness. These areas synergistically address confounding issues that deter education and rural development. The Delta Rural Foundation's mission is to promote sustainable development in rural areas by providing education and resources to those who need it most.
